About Us
Established 2014
As a recently married man with two young toddlers in 1982, Sukhi Manhas moved his family to Campbell River with aspirations of owning a successful business and becoming a philanthropist while providing for his young family.
After working 32 years in the furniture industry, Sukhi decided to take on a new venture and opened up Island Home Furniture in 2014.

Inspired Design
Our buying group travels the world to view the most up to date designs. We conduct market research and tailor each store to the needs of the local community.
Environmental Consciousness
We have one planet and must do what we can to protect it. We represent brands that try to be as environmentally conscious as possible. All old furniture that we take from customers homes are donated and delivered to those in need. We recycle everything that can be recylced and try to minimize waste as much as possible.
Community
Our mission statement is to provide the best service and product as possible. We are not an anonymous corporation, we are your neighbours. Our children will grow up in these small communities. We want to build a reputation we can be proud of.
